A Galentine's Tea

Ladies Celebrating Ladies

Galentine’s Teas are always so fun! Gather a bunch of your favorite girlfriends, sit down at a table smothered in girly-ness and tasty treats, and enjoy the conversations that follow. For this tea I knew I didn’t want to repeat last year’s table of pinks and reds, not because I didn’t love it, but because I wanted to try something new! I spotted this lush tablecloth with gold embroidery a few months back but in the moment couldn’t think of what tea or color theme I would ever use it for, so alas I left it at the antique shop. But then a couple weeks back a lightbulb went off in my head and I knew I wanted a table covered in gold and blush! The next day I ran back to that same shop and found the tablecloth just where I left it, I was so happy! The blush and gold theme didn’t apply just to the linens and cups, but also to teapots, candlesticks, three tiers and glassware. I brought my favorite pink depression glasses for mimosas, pink depression candlestick holders, two English pots, and two very special Haviland Limoges pots that have never left my house before! I think it was quite a successful tea that made each of the ladies feel extra special. Until next year <3
